Kick start the Christmas season at this year’s Yorkshire Christmas Lunch – the perfect event to entertain your colleagues and clients or treat your staff with superb catering and great entertainment in the heart of North Yorkshire. 

As per tradition, St John Fisher High School band will set the festive mood during the drinks reception. The award-winning comedian Rod Woodward and famous ex-footballer, sports television pundit and reality television personality – Lee Sharpe will entertain you and your guests during the lunch. The event will once again be hosted by MC Frank Flaherty.
What a great way to start the festive season and get in to the Christmas spirit!

Rod Woodward

Award-winning comedian Rod Woodward has been tipped for the comedy premiership by such luminaries as Peter Kay and the late Bob Monkhouse after winning the Best Newcomer to Variety Award. Having supported Paddy McGuinness and Russell Brand on tour, he won the BBC 1 Wales comedy competition Funny Business. He performed at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas ahead of Joe Calzaghe's super fight with Bernard Hopkins and to celebrate Cardiff City reaching the FA Cup final, Rod wrote and performed comedy song 'Do The Ayatollah' backed by more than 100 Bluebirds fans. Set to the tune of the Macarena, it was a You Tube sensation and was featured on network radio and television shows, including Soccer AM and GMTV.

The highlight of Rod's career was being invited to perform at the London Palladium before William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, on the Royal Variety Performance.

Lee Sharpe

Lee Sharpe

An English former professional footballer, sports television pundit and reality television personality, who as a player was predominantly a left winger from 1988 to 2004.

Sharpe joined Manchester United from Torquay United as a youngster in 1988, playing for the club up until 1996. He won a total of eight caps for England and moved to Leeds United in 1996. He retired from professional football in 2003. Since then Sharpe has also developed a career in reality television. He appeared as a competitor in the 2005, ITV television show Celebrity Wrestling, under the name "Sharpe Shooter". He is also known for appearing in Celebrity Love Island, ITV's Dancing on Ice, Coronation Street and on Saturday Night Takeaway ITV1.
