Mt Kilimanjaro

What an amazing achievement to say you have climbed the tallest free standing mountain on earth with an elevation of 5,895 metres above sea level, located in Tanzania, Africa. Eight brave individuals set themselves up for the challenge of a lifetime to help one particular family who lost their father, electrician Christopher Hendrie to a rare form of cancer in just 9 weeks. Andrew Dykes, Senior Estimator of SES Engineering Services Ltd, explained to us pre-trip why he embarked on this trek “I have taken on this challenge as I know that we all sometimes need help and support through difficult times in our lives. On this occasion, the Hendrie family need the support of others to give hope to the family and create a better brighter future.
