Electrical Industries Charity - The Electrical Wholesaler Awards 2022

We're honoured to have attended this year's Electrical Wholesaler Awards 2022, where the attendees were fundraising for the Charity. A great day of celebrating the industry.

On the 13^th October, we were delighted to be in attendance at the prestigious Electrical Wholesaler Awards 2022 (EW Awards) at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel.

For over 10 years, Datateam Business Media, the publisher of the leading industry magazine Electrical Wholesaler, has been recognising industry excellence. It was fantastic to see key industry figures gathered to celebrate the winners and nominees over a drinks reception, three-course lunch, comedy, and the awards ceremony. It was a joy to be back seeing people in person, with a sea of smiling faces, as the event has been virtual for the last few years due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The EW Awards kindly chose to support the Charity. Thank you to everyone at Datateam Business Media for their thoughtfulness and hospitality. We’re so pleased to say that the event raised a whopping £850! This will make such a difference to people across the industry who are going through difficult times and need our support. A huge thank you again to everyone at the event that donated so generously to us.

We were honoured to be asked to talk about the Charity, where Grace Ellis, Welfare Services and Mental Health Officer, explained what the donations mean to the Charity, about mental health and how important it is to ask everyone, not once, but twice how they are. Nicky Bane, Marketing and Communications Executive had the pleasure of handing out awards to two of the winners.
